Habitat
The natural home where an animal lives and finds food, water and shelter.
What is a habitat?
Every animal is suited to its habitat: a polar bear's thick fur to the cold, a camel's hump to the desert, an octopus's soft body to the rocky seabed.
When a habitat is destroyed, the animals living there are in danger. That is why protecting forests, seas and wetlands matters so much.
