Marsupial
Mammals whose babies are born tiny and grow up in a pouch on their mother's belly.
What is a marsupial?
Marsupial babies are tiny when born, with their eyes still closed. They crawl straight into their mother's pouch and grow there, drinking milk.
Most marsupials live in and around Australia. Kangaroos, koalas and wombats are the best known.
