Geography: Reading the World
Advanced textbook · 6 units with worked problems
Foreword
Geography studies where, why and how natural and human patterns form on Earth's surface. This book asks for reasoning, not memorising: you will read maps by scale, calculate the Sun's altitude, compare the energy of earthquakes and predict a country's future from its population pyramid.
Every unit has formula boxes and "In depth" sections. The end-of-unit problems are at exam level — solve them yourself before opening the solutions. The examples from Türkiye let you apply what you learn to a real place.
