Endemic species
A species that lives naturally in only one particular part of the world.
What is an endemic species?
Endemic species live only on one island, one mountain or in one country. If something happens to that place, they could disappear completely.
Türkiye is very rich in endemic species, especially plants. The Anatolian ground squirrel lives almost nowhere but Anatolia.
