Nocturnal animal
Animals that rest by day and are active at night, looking for food in the dark.
What is a nocturnal animal?
Many nocturnal animals have big eyes, sharp ears or an excellent sense of smell.
For desert animals, being active at night is a big advantage — it keeps them out of the scorching daytime heat.
