Migration

When animals travel long distances at the same time every year to find food, water or a place to have babies.

Why do animals migrate?

Migrating animals can travel thousands of kilometres. They find their way using the sun, the stars, the Earth's magnetic field or smells.

Birds, whales, sea turtles and the zebras of the African savanna are all migrators.
